国際会議の準備

バンコクで行われた国連パレスチナ会議のフォローアップに追われています。
演説の全文を希望される方もいらっしゃいましたが、私は、基本的に、国際会議でのプレゼンは、文章を書かずに、話すべきポイントを明確に書き出して、それを追いながら話すということをしています。
書いたのを読むと、どうしても書き言葉になり、聞いていてわかりにくく、平板になってしまうからです。
もちろん文章がないので、かなり練習をきちんとしておかないと、本番で困ってしまうため、何回もぶつぶつとやっています。
国際会議は、なるべく早い段階で出番が回ってきて、そこでなるほどと思ってもらえるようなパフォーマンスができれば、その後のコーヒーブレークや食事時、あるいは夜のドリンクにいろんな参加者から声をかけてもらえることも増えていきます。
出番が遅いと緊張する時間も長いし、大勢の参加者に名前を売ることもできないので、できるなら、なるべく早くやらせていただくのが肝心です。
回数をこなして、慣れる以外には上手くなる方法はないと思っていますので、会議でのプレゼンのオファーがくれば目をつぶって受けるようにしています。
